Everything that you put on your skin absorbs into your body. Vegan products are a safer, healthier alternative because they are free of harmful chemicals. Vegan skin care is a great choice for skin afflicted with environmental and preservative-based skin allergies. It’s also a great choice for helping to prevent skin allergies from developing.
What’s in a Name?
SK Pure Essentials was founded by Sonja Crandon. The “SK” is an abbreviation for her first and middle names. “Pure” means that our non-toxic products are also free of synthetic fragrance. We use only natural plant and/or tree based extracts (essential oils) to create high-quality scents that are never overpowering or harmful.
Are your products Hypo-allergenic?
There are no federal or standard guidelines required to label a product as “hypoallergenic,” so the term itself can be misleading. That’s why we don’t use it on our product labeling. Our products do not contain synthetic ingredients, which are the most common cause of allergic reaction. In most cases they are the perfect solution for people who suffer from skin allergies.
When will I receive my order?
All SK Pure Essentials products are made by hand, in small batches to preserve freshness. Please allow 5 – 7 business days for delivery.
Where are your products manufactured?
Our products are made in the U.S.A. The African oil ingredients used in our products are imported from Africa. We use only certified organic, certified Fair Trade, and PETA certified (cruelty-free) African oils in our products.
Are your products formulated for dry skin conditions?
Yes. All products are formulated with a combination of African Oils and Butters that promote moisture retention to treat dry skin conditions.
Do you use any fragrances or preservatives?
No. We only use pure Essential oils and natural soy-based preservatives.
Are your products suitable for children?
Yes. All products are suitable for family use. However, please select unscented products that are free of Essential Oils for use on babies.
If you have more questions, please post them to our Facebook page or write to Sonja directly.
